Graveyard Mist

For this tutorial you will need

My supplies HERE (includes window tube, graveyard scenes courtesy of Stockxchng)
Filter: Mura Meister Clouds HERE
A tube of your choice
A font of your choice

Lets begin.

Remember to save often!

Open up your window tube supplied with this tutorial.

Add a new raster layer and drop this BELOW your window tube.

Open up one of the graveyard scenes supplied with this tutorial. Resize if necessary. Copy/Paste as new layer.  Drag this layer BELOW the window tube. Select your mover tool and position where you think it looks best. IE: gravestones visible through window.

Add a new raster layer. This layer will sit between the graveyard scene and the window tube. Go to Effects/Plugins/Mura Meister/Clouds using the following settings:

Lower the opacity of this layer to 80%.

Add a new raster layer. Repeat the Mura Meister Clouds, but this time adjust the amount slightly.

Lower the opacity of this layer to 80%.

Add a new raster layer (again! lol). Repeat the Mura Meister Clouds, adjusting the amount of clouds again.

Lower the opacity of this layer to 80%.

When looking at your working canvas, you can't see the graveyard. Don't worry, we will when we animate.

Open up your tube of choice. Copy and paste as new layer. Select your mover tool and arrange where you think it looks best.

Lets add a picture frame. Go to Image/Picture frame. I used Edge Chalk 01.

Add your font. Change your foreground and background to colours from your tube. The font I used is "Corpse". Drop this font layer below your picture frame.

Add the following inner bevel:

Duplicate your font. On the ORIGINAL, go to Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur: 14.

On your DUPLICATE font layer, add the following drop shadow:

Add your © copyright info along with your watermark.

Ok, lets animate. HIDE your 2nd and 3rd cloud layers, leaving your 1st layer active. Go to Edit/copy merged.  Open Animation Shop and paste as new animation. Return to PSP. HIDE 1st cloud layer, and UNHIDE the 2nd cloud
layer. Go to Edit/copy merged. Return to Animation Shop. Go to Edit/paste after current frame. Return to PSP.  HIDE your 2nd cloud layer and UNHIDE your 3rd cloud layer. Return to Animation Shop for a final time. Go to Edit/paste after current frame.

Go back to the first frame. Right click on the body of it, and select frame properties. Change this number to 75 and click ok. Repeat this for the remaining 2 frames. To view your animation go to View/animation. When you're happy with the speed of the mist, save as a gif file.

We're done!

Here's another example:

MzKels and I were telepathically in sync yesterday and both created halloween window tags.  We were chatting on Messenger and realized...ut oh!  Same concept...different tags.  We've had a good laugh over it! lol.  Please check out MzKels tags HERE & HERE!
