For this tutorial you will need
An image of your choice
A texture of your choice (mine is from
Textura)
A font of your choice (I used Greyhound)
Filter: Xero/Radiance
HERE
Filter: Filters Unlimited 2.0

Lets begin.
REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN!
Open a 600 x 300 transparent canvas. Go to
Selections/Select all.
Add a new raster layer.
Open your texture of choice. Right click copy.
Go back to your working canvas, right click and paste into
selection. If you like the texture, but want to
change the colour, go to Adjust/Hue and
Saturation/Colorize.
Open your image of choice. Right click on your layer
palette, and promote background to a raster layer.
Select your lasso tool. Use the following settings:

Draw around your image. It doesn't have to be neat. Go to
selections/invert. Hit delete until you have deleted
the amount of back ground you wish to.
Go to Effects/Plugins/Xero/Radiance using the following
settings:

Go to Effects/Plugins/Filters Unlimited 2.0/Special
Effects/Aged Film using the following settings:

Copy and paste your feathered image (do not close the
original, we will come back to it), and paste as a new
layer.
Duplicate. On the ORIGINAL layer, go to
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur - Radius: 14.
On your DUPLICATE layer, change blend to Hue Legacy. Lower
the opacity slightly (approx 80. This will depend
on the image used).
Hide bottom layer and textured layer. Merge/Merge all
visible.
Select your mover tool and move the merged image over a
little to the right. See above sample for guidance.
Add a new raster layer. Select a colour from your canvas
for your foreground. Open your materials palette and
select a texture. (I used daze for the top sample, coarse
canvas for below sample)

If it appears a bit too much, lower the opacity, until you
are happy.
Return to your image you feathered earlier. Copy, return
to your working canvas and paste as new image. Select
your mover tool and position to the very left. Duplicate.
On your original layer, apply the same gaussian blur
as we used previously.
Change your foreground to a dark colour from your canvas,
and your background to a light colour from your canvas.
Apply your font using the following settings:

Add the following drop shadow:

Add a picture frame by going to Image/Picture Frame. I
used Edge Chalk 03.
Add your copyright information along with your watermark.
If you don't want to animate, save as a jpeg now. If you
want to apply the scratches, lets continue!
Go to edit, copy merged.
Open your Animation shop. In the body of the page, right
click and paste as new animation. On the new animation,
right click and select insert image effect. Apply the
following settings:

Go to file/save as/gif file.
We're done!
